Most communication platforms treat your data as their product. We built TheChatApp because enterprises deserve tools that respect data sovereignty. Your messages, files, and calls belong to your organization — not to us.
Based in Portugal, we build software where privacy is part of the architecture, not just a settings page. Self-hosted deployments keep the tenant environment under your control; managed deployments use encrypted transport and encrypted tenant storage.
Clear Trust Boundaries
We describe each deployment by who operates it and who can technically access it. Managed cloud is encrypted and KMS-capable; tenant-controlled key options are scoped for Enterprise teams that need stricter separation.

No Ad Tracking
No advertising trackers, no advertising profiles, and no sale of customer data. Operational, support, billing, and compliance records are handled under the privacy policy and DPA.
Compliance
Built with GDPR workflows in mind: EU entity, European hosting by default, and data-subject rights wired into the product. We publish a Data Processing Agreement, Technical and Organizational Measures documentation, and a sub-processor list. We’re based in Portugal under the supervision of the CNPD.
