Mentions, reactions, and polls

Mention teammates with @ to notify them and make the message easier to find later. The app tracks pending mentions and acknowledgments so important callouts do not get lost in busy conversations.

Group mentions can target a user group by slug where enabled. Some group mention behavior can depend on group visibility and permissions configured by admins.

Emoji reactions are useful for quick acknowledgement, voting, or lightweight sentiment. Calls also support emoji reactions during voice and video sessions.

Polls can be created inside channels and conversations. Votes update in real time so teams can make quick choices without moving to a separate tool.

1. Open the conversation where the decision belongs.
2. Create a poll with a clear question and answer choices.
3. Send it to the channel or group.
4. Review results as teammates vote.
